I had a dream last night in which I took a bullet to the gut because I stepped in front of Obama when someone tried to assasinate him. I did it totally without thinking, and it seemed like the most natural thing in the world. I can't remember a time before this when I've looked at a politician - or anyone really - and thought "this guy is more important to the world than I am." In the dream, it was just reflex, and I was a little amused and happy, like "will you look at that. I did the right thing there, and how funny that it was right." We were on the sidewalk at DFW.

relative to your position of course since up doesn't actually exist in space

This is the next thing I intend to work on: convincing NASA that all cosmic navigation should be given relative to me. I'm thinking I'll use the old "we need hard standards!" technique.

That ties in very well with my idea of enforcing fixed-do solfege relative to the tone of my voice when I say my own name.

That would be so convenient any time you needed to tune your guitar, although I suppose it would disadvantage the brass instruments somewhat.
