I had a dream last night in which I took a bullet to the gut because I stepped in front of Obama when someone tried to assasinate him. I did it totally without thinking, and it seemed like the most natural thing in the world. I can't remember a time before this when I've looked at a politician - or anyone really - and thought "this guy is more important to the world than I am." In the dream, it was just reflex, and I was a little amused and happy, like "will you look at that. I did the right thing there, and how funny that it was right." We were on the sidewalk at DFW.
