Got Your Nose

I smell like vinegar lately. Nobody believes me, but it is true. I have taken to eating a lot of mustard so that if someone says, "you smell like vinegar," I can answer, "nono - that's the mustard." So far, no one has said this because they all think I'm making the vinegar thing up. Possibly they are being polite.

Well it is true that the fly that is perpetually annoying me seems to disappear when you come over. Which according to the old adage means you don't smell like Honey. But then again the fly could be entirely in my head, a mental construct to keep me focused away from other things that would be "bad" to dwell upon. So maybe your imaginary vinegar exists solely to drive away my imaginary fly. Or maybe I'm a lunatic and you have developed an animalisticly heightened sense of smell.
