I think the problem, really, is that I don't have any particular attachment to this computer lab, or in fact to this computer. The same extends to my notebook, and now I am talking about paper and not computers at all. I do have a pen of which I am someone protective but its use is entirely to write ":) Thanks! -Romie" on the tops of paper strips. This pen is purple.

Patrick, it might be said, I am possessive of or attached to. And he is constantly in my company. However, so far all attempts to write on him have failed because he insists on bathing regularly and therby destroying any sort of record I might keep on him. Grocery lists are right out. Perhaps this is why I have stopped cooking.

In questions of medium, we will always fail with the electronic or the convenient. Sometimes, it is best to revert to the chisel. When in such dire straits, the muse is a pigeon we send ahead of the ship to trigger the onrushing cliffs.
