Tonight, the moon was as huge as I've ever seen it. Giant and yellow and low in the sky at two in the morning. You always imagine these these things with the moon in full, or maybe a crescent, but this was a half moon, just slightly too round to be first quarter. It was incredible, not like the moon I know so well; the craters had different patterns, different deliniation. And I spend a lot of time moongazing; I come from a family of lunatics.
