Establishing Shot

her hand on her arm and her head on her hand.
Above her is suspended a peach,
which rotates in a 3:1 light balance.
To the right of the girl is an empty space
and a trash can
which is overexposed.
The directors believe that this shows their grasp of style.
The directors believe that without the trash can,
the shot would be ineffective.
It took us days to find the right trash can,
which has a blue trash bag in it.
It was located in the office of an optometrist
whose bathroom we were trying to use.
We were later applauded for our fortuitous bladders.
The directors believe that this work will be groundbreaking,
and we are inclined to believe them.
We would do this work for nothing, because of our faith in the directors
but we choose not to tell them out of fear we will starve.
Secretly, we are jealous of the girl,
who is often the focus of the directors
although the camera itself is out of focus
to show that the girl is not sure of herself.
At the end of the film, the girl will be in full focus
and her hand will be on her thigh instead of her arm.
In fact, we have already done that shot, and it went very well for us.
The hardest is the beginning;
That is the reason we saved it for last.
For three days we have worked on this shot,
which is only eight seconds long.
We are waiting to capture the perfect moment,
running roll after roll of film.
