rinueI wound up all right. I was already fairly punked-out, which helped, and I went through all my "combat" music -- from Alien Sex Fiend to Lou Reed to Iggy Pop to The Clash and back again. I wore knee boots. I drank Coca Cola, which I hate, and managed to transfer a lot of my rage to that.
Mostly, I hung out with Chad and Patrick. We spent the entire night awake, locked in the Texaco convenience store where Chad works. We played violent board games. We talked of old D&D campaigns. We watched the sun come up. We ate pancakes.
It rocked.
Better yet, Chad is "in" for the $500 road trip, and I can't think of anyone I'd rather have along except my sister Arielle -- who arrives on Tuesday.
