Double Hips

Sharon's sister calls the fat on her thighs "Armageddon fat."

"You see that?" she yells to the mirror, slapping her leg lustily. "When the end times come and we're all living in caves, this is what's keeping me alive. This! I'll outlast everyone!"

I have Armageddon fat too, but I see it a little differently. It's just a small patch on my right leg -- clearly built-in padding for my gun or dagger or crossbow. The left, of course, has no fat because that would interfere with the free movement of my sword.

Okay, for some reason the first vision 'armageddon fat' raised in me was of her being rendered down so the rest of the group could have a layer of grease to keep you warm under your clothing. See, that way she benefits the whole community.
