rinue | Trick 1: Not caring you're tired. Trick 2: Coffee.

Busy week. We got Merlin to a very small portion of greater Boston, but probably all that could be fit into five and a half days -- North End, City Hall, a fat chunk of the Freedom Trail, candlepin bowling, Harvard Square, the MFA, and several seafood restaurants. Also, Ciro volunteered at the Boston Independent Film Festival and I planted out a vegetable garden, worked full time, finished out my Sundance Lab application, found several lost files, put books on shelves, and pulled together a web portfolio. (Not quite everything is linked yet. Not quite everything is uploaded yet. But you can watch my reel, and one hopes generally get the sense that I haven't been wasting my time.) And of course the usual domestic tasks.

Ciro departs for two weeks in Italy tomorrow morning, and will leave for the airport before I wake up. I suppose I'll have to practice Italian so I won't be hopelessly left behind. (I will probably still be left behind. And not hopeless.)
