The Plan

Okay, so since I will not be going to grad school, I have to think about getting a job of some kind. Money is not an issue; stimulation is. I can be dirt poor and not care, but I refuse to work (a) in an office (b) for the government or (c) in academia.

Basically, I want a cool job. I want people to look upon me with awe when they find out what my job is. So far, the options I've come up with are as follows:

1. Join the circus, because who the hell doesn't want to run off and join the circus?

2. Similarly, work the renfaire circuit.

3. Manage to become a puppeteer professionally. (This one is actually my favorite, but I'm not sure how to go about it.)

4. Write scripts for a soap opera.

5. Get a regular-ish job, but in another country so that it's automatically cooler.

Regardless, I'll write. If all else fails, I know I can always get a job as a gaffer, even though that's kinda cheating. (Don't ask me why, because I couldn't rightly say.) And then there's the Peace Corps, which doesn't count as working for the government.

And this is a horrible entry, which I will probably rewrite at some point.
