Mardi Gras

REL and I considered using our balcony as though it was a parade float and throwing beads at the kids from the music school across the street, but it was damp and we both had to work. Anyway, Mom and Dad went to a Shrove Tuesday pancake thing, so we have had to reschedule Mardi Gras to Friday, which is easy since we don't practice Lent, except Mom occasionally and never in a way that would prevent eating shrimp and okra.
