rinue | You don't look like a ghost

Sung at the Christmas Eve candlelit service; sung at the Christmas morning service. Living on coffee; been sleeping badly for a little more than a week, and not drinking coffee doesn't make it any easier to sleep, but does make it easier to be awake.

Christmas was Scrooge, food, and XBOX mostly. Ciro made mulled wine and a citrus cream sauce for panettone, and later a cocktail of lime and Frangelico. (Christmas Eve, I purchased the cheap wine and cheap panettone to be doctored, feeling a good deal like Bob Cratchit. And during Scrooge, gave my traditional holiday lecture on Wages Fund theory, Malthusian economics, and the market-rate wage of a clerk like Bob.)

For no good reason, my favorite present is probably the cheapest one, a little $1 fake gold necklace of a robot with a giant heart and stars on his knees.

Also, I now own a banjo, although I'll need to restring it before it can be played.
