Feeling less stressed now that there's a shooting schedule and I can see with my eyes what the parameters are. I can do things that are very difficult as long as I have reassurance they are theoretically possible.
On the other hand, I've just been asked to do something impossible at work, but I flat out refused to even pretend I was going to try. On another week, I might say "well, they're paying me to waste this time," but this week . . . no.
Long-term stressors that are falling away: Ciro is done with school, and we're set to move in October. My parents are very much looking forward to seeing us, and I am looking forward to once again living with adults I trust.
Letter from Val arrived yesterday. She spends twice as much on postage as I do, because she likes to write one-sided on thick paper with expressive handwriting. I write tiny and would do it on tissue paper if I thought it would be legible.
Ciro and I have started doing stretches before bed, and I do seem better rested, but this could be coincidence. I've also been wearing my mouthguard to bed to still my gnashing of teeth.

Date: 2010-08-13 05:35 pm (UTC)Where is Boston; we can stay with my folks for a year or two and pay down student loans and be in a house with a piano, and there are many more paying film/theater/art jobs for Ciro up there. It's not a permanent decision; in a year or two we're still aiming for a move to Italy, although obviously anything and everything can and will move around if one of us suddenly becomes very famous or something. (That's a weird thing to have to plan around as a possibility, but there it is.)
