Served to you in a little country glass
Apr. 28th, 2010 01:45 pmMade jicama salad for the first time in ages, and knew I had remembered the ingredients correctly when the grocer identified the meal after ringing up the inputs. Have also inadvertently assembled the makings of a banana cream pie (not yet assembled), so a successful food day generally, even if I discount the 79¢ ice cream cone from Braum's (Rocky Road).
Met with James to read through the almost complete Hayseeds script. Some things he'd written had me concerned that he was about to pull out of the production company, but this was clearly unfounded paranoia as he immediately suggested a location scouting trip for this Sunday to lay the groundwork to shoot in August; we and Ciro are also brainstorming actors we know who might fit the roles (and be willing to work for no money up front - still a key consideration).
