Lookit! Another percent! It is two months past the end of NaNoWriMo, but I am plugging along with another 150 words about wizards playing cards in dive bars. The heavily-armored Romie train will not be stopping, no sir!

I wrote one whole new page on my nonnanowrimo thing, but I forgot the progress bar! You clearly have superior discipline and I am not even joking!

I think it is not so much discipline as a profound and unshakable love of good visual representations of data. I think it is possible that at some point during every conversation I have had for the past week (including "Val, I am sorry your cat has died" and "IHOP server, why have you not seated me yet in this nearly empty IHOP") I have managed to work in a plug for the video where somebody adjusted US home prices for the last century (up until 2007) to account for inflation and then fed all of it into the video game Rollercoaster Tycoon to make it clear that there was definitely a housing bubble (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2757699799528285056).
