Ah, February
Feb. 9th, 2014 11:34 amOn Sundays, I go to work (and leave work) an hour earlier than I do on my other workdays, so I can cover a once-a-week program out of Cleveland. Which this time of year means I get hit directly in the eyes with a piercing beam of unfiltered sunlight that comes through a window in my office at a particular angle. Even 30 minutes later, the sun has moved enough that it's not a problem. But for a good 15 minutes at least, I have to either crane my neck at a strange angle or accept that I'm not going to be able to see my computer screen. (I can't easily shift any of my complicated setup, which involves mics, phones, and multiple monitors, all of which plug into each other and into the walls.)
February is truly the cruelest month.
