I just noticed that She Nailed a Stake Through His Head ($3 on Kindle!) was mentioned by Gardner Dozois in the 2011 Year's Best Science Fiction. I keep forgetting that came out last year, I think because the story was accepted in 2010. A small mention. He said it was pleasant.
And apparently "Judith and Holofernes" (my story in said book) was read at Arisia this year. So it's conceivable that a science fiction fan in Boston (where Arisia is held) might actually have some idea what I was talking about if I said I wrote that. Might. Probably not.
Tim (the publisher) thinks there could even be royalty payments next year. Of like $3. Could be.
I feel so big-time.
