It has finally been two years since I made "The Sleeping People," which means I'm now free of the part of my contract with my school which said I couldn't put it on the Internet. Hooray! Annoyingly, this has hit at exactly the point in time when I'm least likely to like a film I've made. (Two years out, I'm past the part where I'm like "yay, my film, I did it!" but not far enough to be "oh, a film somebody made who happened to be me, and it's rather nice." So I'm in the picky "eh, I should have cut a frame earlier/oh, there's a continuity error/I'll use that bit later but not that bit" stage. Fortunately, this stage doesn't last too long for me; I know a lot of other people who get this stage and nothing else.)

Anyway, don't listen to me. It's good and it's totally safe for work. Creative Commons 4.0, and based (with permission) on a story by Jonathan Lethem as part of the Promiscuous Materials Project.
