About a month ago, my hair length transitioned from long-for-Romie (which counts anything beyond my ears) to flat-out long. It is odd to find there is such a discrete point between the two, but I know there is because people who see me every day now say "oh, your hair has gotten so long!" I expect this from people who don't see me for months at a time, but this is something different. It's like some milimeter somewhere crossed a finish line I couldn't see.

Presumably there will be another currently invisible mark at which my hair will go from "long" to "too long." And then after that another point which is "eccentrically long, which is okay again." Assuming I don't cut it, that is.
