Billy Collins, I never liked poetry until you.
Billy Collins, I listened to what you said as poet laureate and I read your intro to Good Poems and I read the 2006 Best American Poets more times than I could count. Billy Collins, your poems aren't always for me, but you pointed me to the good stuff.
Billy Collins, when I feel alone and tired, which is often, I can find the right line and say "yes exactly." Billy Collins, when I am ecstatic, which is sometimes, I can find the right line and say "yes exactly."
Billy Collins, you saved my life.
