Everybody to the Limit
Sep. 10th, 2007 01:45 amCertain parties that shall remain nameless introduced me to this website where you can sing karaoke for free. And then the website has a thing that lets you record it, and I remembered the old glorious days of Johnny M. posting karaoke recordings late at night. So late at night I recorded some stuff. If you've ever been curious what it is I sound like (and don't know me in person) here are some examples. Unfortunately, you may have to create a (free) account to listen to more than the first few seconds. Sorry about that.
Romie Sings!
"Fake Plastic Trees" and "Diamonds are Forever" are probably the better ones, because it kept getting later. I stopped myself before I started attempting songs that were way too rockin' for me, but it was a near thing. I realized how far gone I was when I started thinking I could sing whatever punk I wanted regardless of whether I knew it, because not caring how I sounded was the essence of punk. Check out how I modified my singshot picture to look like a Che t-shirt, or maybe the cover of a Billy Joel album.
