Bus to the End of Civilization

I have returned from my six days of filming and am thoroughly exhausted. I'm excited about some of what we did and worried about some of what we did, and I won't see rushes until Friday. More substantial information about the shoots will come later; at present, I am just trying to relax and not think about the films for a day or two.

As a reward, I bought myself all kinds of foods I don't usually eat, and thoroughly bewildered an English McDonald's by asking for tomatoes on my cheesburger. This took something like four people and about five minutes of explanation. I also bought myself a mint and chocolate ice-cream-on-a-stick, and a big thing of peach and barley yoghurt, and in a fit of surplus budget and sensible politics got elaborate French pastries for the entire camera department and for a screenwriter who helped me with my script.

In my absence, Queen Mary's roses have come in to bloom.

If you mean the pastries, there's no way in hell they'll survive shipping. Otherwise, yes, if you send me money (and money for postage, and your address), I'd be happy to buy you whatever goodies you like.
