Hell's Bells
Feb. 3rd, 2007 04:04 pmDamnit. I have lost my favorite ring, which I have worn every day for who knows how many years. As a result, I have taken off all of my rings, all of them, since two are missing stones anyway, and one is kinda squshed, and two have snapped from metal fatigue and just hold together out of habit. With my favorite one missing, that only leaves one undamaged ring and it is the one I don't especially like - and anyway, all of them were constantly falling off, constantly, because my hands are tiny and flash around a lot, and I got all the rings when my fingers were a different size. Damnit, this is no good, and I don't have the wherewithal to do anything about it.

Perhaps this is a sign that you will not need your armor anymore.

And see a fine lady upon a white horse
With rings on her fingers and bells on her toes
She shall have music wherever she goes (http://www.kton.demon.co.uk/banbury.htm)
