Fireworks again - the whistly spinning ones. Wherefore fireworks? Wherefore?

I pretty much hate myself at the moment, as I am clearly doing something profoundly wrong. What that is, I'm not sure; I can only see the effects. I think it might have to do with blue jeans, sneakers, and sweaters; long, undyed hair; not wearing much makeup. I haven't looked this young since I was fourteen. It's awful, and I have neither time nor money to fix it. I just have to put up with being treated like everyone's younger sister. I say "divorce," and it's assumed I'm talking about my parents.

I was eating at a CiCi's recently, when a bunch of Plano High School kids sat down with me to "meet the new kid." It was fun to meet them, but it was more fun to tell them that I was a student at SMU.

I love the whistling spinning fireworks.
