So I just opened a copy of the Dallas Observer and found out that a friend of mine from high school, Norah is about to release an album on Blue Note that's supposedly very good. This doesn't surprise me particularly, because I have very talented friends, only some of whom I actually correspond with. (Incidentally, you should check her out -- go to the site, etcetera. She's not only a beautiful person, but an incredible vocalist.)

No, what weirded me out is that her dad's apparently Ravi Shankar. Who knew?

Jesus, what kind of libertine are you? Ravi Shankar is an exceptionally well known sitarist who palled around with the likes of George Harrison.
