As a result of playing a lot of Karaoke Revolution Country, I have unintentionally started speaking in an even lower register, and am manifesting a mild Texas drawl. (A real Texan accent, which is sexy. Don't think Ross Perot; think James Dean in Giant.) Basically, I sound more like Roy Orbison than I did a month ago. If the trend continues, perhaps I will someday reach Johnny Cash levels of huskiness.

That might well be the coolest thing ever. At that point you'd have to do a phonepost and recording the greeting on people's answering machines, etc.
