Yesterday, I slid my red shirt across the floor, and when I picked it up, it was grey. I've had a hard time convincing myself to do housework lately, (although no trouble seeing how desperately it's needed). My apartment, which was so pleasant to me only a month ago, (and a dreamland a few months before that,) is now far too small. I haven't overfilled it - there's still a place for everything - but familiarity has made the walls shrink. I'm suprised I can lie down without bending my knees. In my head, I have already moved into a larger apartment, which I have painted a leafy shade of green. Unfortunately, I still have to pay rent here for the few months left on my lease, and I totally forgot this month because, well, in my mind I don't live here anymore.

Of course, in my mind, I am the star of a popular telivision show caled "Rom-prah" in which I portray Oprah Winfrey if she was an 18th century philosopher. Mind you, this is a children's television show so that I can sell huge amounts of merchandise. Of course, it does not have any children on it, since that would be inconvenient, but since everything is done up in primary colors and it airs in the middle of the day, it will clearly be entertaining to toddlers. I've heard they like words like "cogito" and "ergo sum."

The title music is the Rom-prah Oompah, of course.
