In my dream last night, there was another area of my backyard, a brambly and highly visible hillside with depleted topsoil, and it was like, great, now I have to take care of this area also. But it was full of barely buried semiprecious stones, which I could gather easily to form lustrous footpaths, so it worked out ok and was not, despite initial indications, another infinite task with uncertain payoff.
