The answer to why I'm in Pescara is kind of a non-answer, in that I'm here for no specific reason. To some extent, we put a pin in a map. My husband's Italian by birth but spent basically his whole life in Texas. We wanted a change of scenery, and thought, why not Italy? Pescara's a good size for newcomers - not so big we get lost, and not so small it's insular, good weather, friendly people. I like it.
