Delightful Inconsistent

I know everybody thinks they're the most wounded one. I could call it human nature, but I think it's not really; I think we can do better than that. I try to. I look at the generosity of people who have been through much worse than I have, and I hope I can live up to it. But it's hard for me some days. I take things too personally that are probably not much about me, and am probably just as quick to take offense. Quicker, even. I run on offense.
