Very grey spring and summer so far, occasionally punctuated by a day of 90 degrees and bright sun before an immediate about face for another week or two of 60s and rain. Hard on the wardrobe. Confusing the plants.

No kidding.

It actually puts me in mind of the beginning of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. I always really liked the part of the story before they go to Narnia. (Not that I dislike Narnia, but that house in the country! With the old cool professor and rambling grounds! During the war!)
