General Malaise

I've been sick for the past few days, and I'm getting tired of it. I'm an absolutely miserable sick person; my brain goes fuzzy and I become incompetent to do anything -- even instruction sequences like "walk over to the sink. pour glass of water. drink glass of water." Mostly, I camp out in bed, (in this case, Valancy's, since I don't own one,) growl at whoever disturbs me, (woe be to Valancy, whose bed I've comandeered,) and watch a lot of movies.

Grrrrrr.

It really is fortunate that I'm almost never sick, because I start to get the feeling that nobody likes me. That they're just putting up with me and humoring me while they come up with escape routes.

This is not aided by the fact that I growl at them.

Which leaves me deserted and saying "but I can't get water on my own!"

I hate being sick.

To add some interest to an otherwise dull entry, the lamp turns into a gargoyle and performs torch songs in an appropriately throaty alto.
