On the subject of the foodie meme

Images of the pasta maker in use. (By "pasta maker" I of course mean "Ciro.")
We have a coffee grinder, but it's mostly used to grind dried chiles because Mom is prefers to have a distinctive and individual chile powder. (She has for instance won chili cookoffs. In Texas.) Hence we don't really have a coffee grinder, because it is now entirely unsuited for grinding coffee.
And today, we don't really have a refrigerator either, since it decided early this morning that it no longer wished to cool things. The vital bits have been temporarily shuffled to the wine fridge and deep freezer, as appropriate. The pickles, jams, mustards, etc., which did not make it onto the lifeboats, are glad at least that it's autumn.
