Nickle-shod horses run the perimteter of my skull. Widdershins, which makes me queazy. Time slows. Each time I check my e-mail, it is as though months have passed. Class meetings feel like 10 year reunions, and I ask after people's children.

Tired.

But I know the key commands to type ç and ö, and Patrick returns tomorrow.
