At just before 2 A.M. Sunday morning, CSPAN caught me totally by surprise by airing a full six minutes of Mitt Romney smiling and scooping ice cream for people, with a tootle-doot-doot-doot song playing over it. I was paying very close attention, because I was closed captioning, and I needed to be ready if somebody said something. No. Six minutes. Ice cream. Smiling. Tootle-doot-doot-doot.

This is the culmination of everything I have wished for from television.

I have not laughed this hard at a politician in ages, thank you...

I didn't count, but it was a lot of little music symbols. I could check my text file and do a count. I think at one point I heard somebody say "Thanks" and at one point I heard somebody say "Governor Romney." But otherwise, music note, music note, music note, music note. . .
