rinueNot quite 2/3 of the way into the script, which puts me solidly in the back half, where the quirky magical realism character study morphs into an Agatha Christie-style mystery, only it's not really a whodunit because the question is more of a what, and the characters can't gather in a room for a big reveal because of the plague. So I guess more like a spy film if the spy were Encyclopedia Brown.
As much as I enjoy inventing conspiracy theories, I find it much less fun when I have to invent conspiracy theories that are plausible.
