the small pleasures of technology
Feb. 13th, 2014 05:25 pmYesterday, I had my first chest x-ray, to rule out pneumonia. (Which it did. I do not have pneumonia, or strep, or the flu, just some not-particularly-dangerous cold that has been going on for an unusually long time.)
It's a shame about the cost and radiation exposure, because I found the process soothing. I like standing alone in a room where I have been positioned precisely while machines move around me.
Plus I was wearing one backwards hospital johnny and one forwards one, like an asymmetric smock with an asymmetric cape on top. Really dug the look. Kind of want to dress like that all the time.
