I Feel Fine

Once again spent a good portion of the day playing Beatles Rock Band. Scarlett and I are both ex-classical pianists who each spent at least 10 years doing a regular circuit of local competitions and recitals, so of course a highly complex rhythm game has no trouble latching on to those deep brain structures, and we think "oh, we'll just play a song or two" and then four hours later are like "ok; we've been playing on the hardest difficulty for all this time and can't feel our hands or legs anymore, so maybe we should stop." At which point I usually go off and play my real guitar for a bit. At this point, for the game, we have amassed a fake drumset, fake guitar, fake bass, three microphones, and two mic stands. And a dozen extra downloaded songs.

Otherwise, helped Rex with his agent query letter for his novel and made flyers for the movie discussion thing next Friday. About to watch Demon Knight for the first time.
