Hobbleknee

Busted up my knee on my desk today. Coincidentally, REL also bust up her knee, although none us recollected the happening; yet the giant bruise is undeniable.

Got a used iTouch as a cost-effective way to be able to roam the house while staying on IM for work, and am determined to hold it to that purpose only. That and Scrabble. And if I can get it to make a tricorder noise.

I am mostly dull right now on account of being sick and mainly wanting to sit still and not think too hard. I did make some pickles and some zucchini jam. I had intended to walk into town, but it was cool and damp and Ciro was like, "No, crazy sick person. The many healthy members of the household will run errands, and you will sit in a large cardigan and drink ginger tea."

On the other hand, I probably have a distorted view of time and expect to do in a week what most people would space over three months. I can probably use the vacation, but of course I worry that it will set a pattern.

Although I am sort of liking the stacks of cardboard boxes decoratively at this stage.

I have decided a bob haircut is not for me at this time and am planning to switch to something more like this.
