Quantam Behavioral Model of Income
Jan. 19th, 2010 10:54 pmI am not the first to observe this, nor will I be the last, but it's absurd how often I hear people say, with complete seriousness, things I would say as jokes, like:
"We need to stop spending and get jobs going."
or
"We need to lower taxes and pay off the defecit."
It's like when numbers get big enough, people stop believing that the normal rules of numbers apply to them - as if, perhaps, they are so large they can distort space. I hire someone, I pay them, and I look into my wormhole pocket and discover that the money I have paid them is also still in my pocket. I go to the grocer and tell him I will not be buying groceries, and I come home to find that my fridge is full, and there is a note from the grocer thanking me - he is thanking me for balancing his accounts. His store will run forever! What a bounty we have. What a beautiful world we live in.
