Plugging the 'Zine
Dec. 6th, 2004 02:47 pmIt belatedly occurs to me that I've totally failed to mention that I'm the associate editor of a zine that released its first issue this month - I've just sort of been assuming that everyone knows. Anyway, you should check it out, especially if you have an hour or so to kill. It's called Reflection's Edge, and it's part genre fiction magazine (sci-fi, fantasy, horror, adventure stories, etc.) and part resource for writers. There's a book review by me, and an article on editing, but the stuff that isn't by me is at least as awesome. If you only have a second, at least read "Serena," which is short and charming. The "Resources" section is also very cool - I'm particularly proud of "Slang and Dialects" and "Improving Your Writing, Part 2".
