A *Very* Silly Song

rinueAll right, this is for Taley's birthday, which I believe is today although it might have been yesterday, and when is Dee's birthday anyway or did I miss that too?
Unfortunately, I cannot do justice in print to the sheer catchiness of the tune, which has been stuck in my head ever since I came up with it. Or maybe it is fortunate after all, because it's beginning to drive me a bit batty and I wouldn't want to subject you to that. It sounds a bit like a cross between "Lily" by the Smashing Pumpkins and "Honey Pie" by the Beatles.

[It's worth noting here that I *do* write songs that are actually serious and poetic, but this is decidedly not one of them as that would have been tremendously inappropriate to the occasion. And it really is better when sung along with accoustic guitar. Ukelele would be even better, but I don't have one of those. Actually, I have three, but none of them have all their strings.]
