popo meme from tommx

Earlier today, I brushed my teeth and put on my socks at the same time. Take that, walk and chew gum!

To the meme:

If you saw me in the back of a police car, what would you think I was arrested for? answer, then post this in your own journal to see how many different crimes you get accused of committing.

Vandalism (by way of performance art).

There is a really groovy artist in London known as "the chewing gum man," because he specifically goes around flattening out chewing gum people have stuck to sidewalks and railings and buildings and then painting on that so that he can make the legal argument that he is not defacing the property because he is painting on the chewing gum, which he did not place, rather than on the public property. He's been roughed up by cops for it, but he is a local hero.

America needs more of this. Personally, I love stencil spray paint art, which seems like the most common quick-and-dirty art fix around the city.

I see you staging mass poetry readings from hidden speakers, or painting guerilla poetry on property.

Definatlly I would assume protesting. Likely something I had never heard about but should have. Possibly involving some combination of civil rights and pigmy tree frogs. The ironic part would be that you weren't actually protesting, but making a documentary of the proceedings.

Why do they always go after the press? It's so crazy, because it will in no way stay anonymous. Why not kick a cute kid with a cute puppy in a spot-lit area, and be done with it?

In my mind it went down something like this:

Romie: -filming madly while yelling directions to people off-screen-
Crazed protester: -yells as he trips and falls into Romie-
Romie: -jerks back to avoid stepping on people... right into the slightly overweight policeman with a bushy mustache-
Police: -finally have a chance to arrest someone and do so with great glee-

Quite frankly, your obscene ability to multi-task. Or defacing CCTV cameras.

I would do this meme myself but doubtless they'd all be to do with public drunkenness and/or inadvertent naturism.

and/or inadvertent naturism.

Which should be rewarded, really - not criminalized.

I hate to admit it, but my first thought was "murder." He totally deserved, though. And you get off.
