Valancy is scandalized by the entry in which I say she thinks sex solves everything. I suggested she drink more water, but this did not seem to placate her. So, even though she's not allowed to actually get mad at me for anything I say in my journal, (it being, after all, my journal,) I feel I should include a disclaimer. ("People read this journal who know me!" exclaimed Valancy, horrified. "People whose views may be forever altered, even though they are my friends and have already accepted me as I am and are unlikely to change their opinions based on a fairly funny joke that can be assumed to have only passing ties to reality." Wait -- that last part was me, not Val. I get confused sometimes. Back to the subject:)

Val does not believe that sex solves everything. There's still the irresistable force/immovable object debate, and nobody's come up with a good unifying field theory yet.

tell val that i take absolutely everything you say at face value and never ever question anything you say. therefore, she must be wrong. tell her to eat more aparagus. it will give her perspective.
