They're huge! It's a different variety of avocado that's less popular for farmers (I don't know why; maybe matures at different times?) which has smooth green skin rather than bumpy black skin, but tastes the same. And they're bigger. You sometimes see them in groceries, but not this huge. Stuff in Hawaii gets massive because of the minerals in the volcanic soil. Kind of like when you were talking about the head-sized roses in Burbank.
