1. I suspect fish sauce as can be bought from the Asian section of the supermarket, but will ask for further recipe.

2. I don't actually have a picture of me in the kaftan, because I have worried that staring at such a thing would be face melting in the way of the ark of the covenant. And also out of laziness. However, I think you may be able to see a photo of the kaftan itself here. It is of course notably more voluminous when I am inside it.
