Bleh
Ciro went into Cambridge today for a book signing by Cat Valente (editor of Apex) and they wound up hanging out and getting ice cream at Toscanini's. I stayed home to get work done, but got no work done and mostly sat around with a headache that wouldn't go away. I did manage to complete a particularly word puzzle, but it's stretching to call that work or relaxing given the headache. I feel terrible all over. And am craving bad chocolate - not quite a Russell Stover level of bad, but certainly not a quality of chocolate I would normally allow near my mouth.
A day I would much rather have skipped entirely, rather than having to go through it AND have it be a total waste. I did figure out a fix for a troublesome sequence in Hayseeds, but that took all of five minutes and happened when I was trying to take a nap and cure my headache, as a result of which I neither took a nap nor cured my headache.
