For the Good of All of Us
Caption work, mostly. Mom and Dad in run-through week for the Winton Cabaret (which benefits the hospital; Mom is singing and Dad is stage crew). Scarlett and REL seperately visiting friends. Ciro is working on a new short story told from the point of view of a 14-year-old girl, so I dug out several old journals and papers to give him age-appropriate writing samples.
Ciro and I have been slowly playing through Half Life 2, by which I mean he punches all the buttons and has to deal with shooting things and getting killed, and then after everything is safe I look at the screen and say "I bet there is a door behind that box!" Or: "If you jumped on that and then that and climbed the nearly invisible ladder, I bet there is health!" Sometimes I am extra helpful and say things like "shoot the helicopter with the big gun!" I think it is going well.
