My sister is particularly bothered with the common usage of the word "organic." In that most foods that claim to be organic in the north american market (apart from some that adhere to rules set by organizations like the OCIA) are right to do so in that they are carbon based.
When regular people fail to understand that the carbon rings are all something really needs for science to refer to is as "organic" it's like watching Rome burn while nero plays the fiddle.
