Bisexual Pride Day

Today is bisexual pride day. We tend to disappear from history and get written off as straight but experimental or gay but closeted. It particularly confuses people when we're monogamous, since it's easy to interpret settling on a person as settling on a gender preference. In a sense, we don't have sexual identity so much as lack of definition. An unlimit. We exist, though. The only reason you can't tell is that we look like anyone else in the community.

Here here. Bisexuals seem to be in the minority no matter where they go. I find it weird that people assume you 'switch which team you bat for' when people go from a relationship with a guy to one with a girl. When I wasn't actively sleeping with anyone I was still just as much of a dyke.

Of course, I also find it odd that people won't accept my "I may not play for that team but that doesn't mean I don't like to watch the game." Many people, including other gays, have told me that because I enjoy looking at the occasional pretty man that I'm just in denial about my heterosexuality. -eyeroll-
